The do’s and don’ts of building your resume
don’t include information from high school unless you are still in high school or are still involved with the organization you are listing
do use shorter sentences, you can save the fluff for conversation
don’t make it longer than one page, your employer will likely receive over 20 resumes for the position you are applying for so let’s not discourage them from reading your resume before they even pick it up
do include your community service, even if it was just hanging out at the nursing home.
